Terms & Conditions of our sales

At Northern Ireland Pups we are happy to offer a full refund if your vet is to find anything wrong with your pup within 7 days of you taking the pup home. There are some conditions attached to this.

  1. We need a copy of your vets report. One of our local vets will examine the puppy to clarify what is in the report. If they agree with your vet then a full refund shall be granted.

  2. There must be no injuries to the pup that occurred after you left our premises. You must be responsible when transporting your pup and we would recommend a dog crate in doing so. See our Tips for caring for your puppy page for more information on puppy care. Any injury that occurs to the puppy after you leave our premises will be your responsibility. We do not offer refunds in this case.

  3. If you feel your pup is unwell please do not hesitate to contact us. We will assess its condition over the phone and may ask for photos or a video to help with this assessment. If we feel that there is something wrong with your pup then we will advise you take it to your local vet. When a pup enters into new surroundings and people it can be stressful on them which can cause some common issues. We will advise you on them before you leave our premises. Making early contact with us on any issue will be considered if a refund is requested.

  4. If you just feel that your pup is not suitable for your house or family then we will be happy to take the pup back from you but there will be an additional 50% re-handling charge to cover any associated cost with looking after the pup and finding them a new home.

  5. On occasions holding deposits are taken from customers. Once this is done we both enter into a contact, NI Pups to provide a happy and healthy pup and the customer to purchase the pup at the agreed price. This pup is then no longer available to purchase by anyone else. If we, NI Pups break this contract in anyway we will fully refund the deposit. If the customer breaks the contact then the deposit becomes non-refundable .

Due to numerous customers paying deposits and then pulling out without valid reasons before collecting their puppies we now enforce this rule. It makes it harder to rehome the pup as during the holding period they are not available to be rehomed and they have missed out on families due to this. The welfare of our pups is paramount so anyone who is serious about taking on a pup will follow through with the contract so deposits are not an issue and are good way to secure your pup until you are ready to collect. We will always give customers time to think before they make a commitment but once the commitment is made then we will uphold our side of the contact and we expect the customer to do so also.
